KELIE CICHOSKI

ABOUT KELIE
The past seven years have really opened my eyes to possibilities that I never would have considered prior to that time. I have vastly expanded my learning of energy healing, spirituality and self discovery. I am excited to share what I’ve learned and have chosen to do so by writing a fictional version of my life story. Why is it a fictional version? You’ll have to read the second book in the series to find out. My books are the beginning of my story. I wanted to share my experiences with everyone so they could understand that anything is possible.
I live in the beautiful historic town of Lake Park, Florida. In addition to writing my books, I help others discover their true purpose with my Transform and Rise practice.
I enjoy volunteering at the Loggerhead Marinelife Center in Juno Beach and learning about Florida’s wildlife, history and plants. I love where I live and want to help make it the best place it can be.
In the meantime, I hope you enjoy learning about Shelly, my author avatar.
I was born in late August of 1967 into a family that looked complete from the outside. What couldn’t be seen were the quiet fractures — favoritism, emotional neglect, and harm that went uninterrupted.
Before I had language for it, I learned to stay alert, to read the room, and to make myself smaller. At the time, I believed this was normal. It wasn’t.
To the Beach: Book One — The Wound tells the story of how the damage was made, before awareness, before healing, and before power. It is not a story of triumph. It is a story of recognition.
It is the story of how the wound was made.
